Join us for our sixth annual Holiday Bazaar and Bakesale on Saturday, December 8th from 11am to 6pm at SCRAP. This unique and cozy holiday bazaar features 15 local artisans that transform normally unwanted materials into cool, creative gifts perfect for your friends and loved ones! All items are made from a minimum of 75% reused materials.
Local artisans include:
- Jenn Alvin of Illusionaire - bags, wallets and other accessorizing wonders
- Larissa Brown & Sarah Gilbert utilize old sweaters in their creation of hats, headbands, toys and more
- Liz Dickey of 1 by Liz - clocks, alphabet tiles and hairclips
- Devon Driscoll creates hand sewn journals out of reclaimed game boards
- Shanna Fiorucci sews layers of fabric together to create animals and landscapes
- Tatiana Isotov creates beautiful stained glass mosaic art indlucing mirrors, coasters and frames
- Suzanne Keolker of Mugwump, specializes in handbags and accessories made from reclaimed vinyl placemats, shower curtains, maps and more.
- Liz and Monica of Dead Dino create jewelry out of scratched records (in photo above).
- Heather Maharry creates bottlecap jewelry and fleece scrap hats filled with wonder and surprises.
- S. Meininger of i.heart.mies: jewelry
- Lee Merideth of leethal - owl hats (in photo above), arm warmers, and more
- Paula Rebsom of Paula Deer, taught by her mother to sew and her father to hunt, she creates unique and stylish hunters caps form recycled materials.
- Natalie Staggs of Monkey Sew Monkey Do wonderful wintry accessories and hats embellished with whimsical flower cutouts.
- Vanessa Rehder of Antelope Baby Industries creates colorful card cases, wallets and check books made from reused book covers.
Meet and support local artists working with reuse materials and be inspired. Other items for sale include: jewelry, clocks, wall hangings, books, hats, accessories, mosaic, scarves, and more.
The SCRAP Bazaar is combined with a traditional Bake Sale offering homemade goodies to tempt the tummy.
Guaranteed to be more fun and cheaper than the mall!
